This past weekend was Luke's school's fundraiser, the Rose Garden Homes Tour. It is a really fun afternoon where several homes in the historic Rose Garden are opened up to the public for tours, all the benefit some of the enrichment programs that Luke's school continues to offer to their students (Spanish, Art, Band, etc.).
At one of the homes each year, student artwork is chosen to be featured. As Michael and I were making our way through the tour, we noticed that Luke's artwork was selected to be on display this year.

Welcome to 1st Grade!
Luke started first grade this morning. FIRST grade! How is that possible?! I just can't believe how quickly the time has gone. Here he is on his first day of school. Clearly, I cannot choose a favorite photo, so here are a bunch.
His teacher invited parents into the classroom this morning as the kids found their desks and settled in. I also snapped a photo with Luke and his new teacher, Miss Pardini.
Happy 1st day, my sweet boy! I hope it is a wonderful year for you.

On to 1st grade!
How is it possible that Luke has completed his Kindergarten year?! It all went (too) fast. We couldn't have asked for a more positive, nurturing first year of elementary school. We feel so grateful to be a part of the St. Martin's community.
Here he is on his final day of Kindergarten.
And with his amazing teachers: Mrs. Anderson and Mrs. Lawrence
