Park fun

As promised, here is a picture and video from our trip to the park

Dancing and clapping

Another video for today. Thanks to James, I now am learning how to move video from our camcorder to the computer, so this is my first attempt at that.

Luke loves to dance (rock back and forth) and clap to music. Here's a clip from this morning:

The weather is beautiful today, so Luke and I took a long walk and went to the park. Pictures of him swinging to come soon!

Ahh, a (tummy) nap at last!

So, for the past few days (or since we've been back from our trip), Luke has not been taking good naps at all. They have been so short, and he wakes up so angry, like he is mad that he's awake. Today, FINALLY, we had a good solid morning nap, and he slept for 2 hours this afternoon. Ahhh ... he needed the sleep, and I needed the break!

He's now officially a tummy sleeper. Each time that I go in to get him after he's been sleeping, I find him on his tummy. The first thing I see when I walk in his room is that little head bobbing up in the crib. Who can blame him, really? I mean, I don't like to sleep flat on my back all the time either!

Here he is after his long nap today

Pat-a-cake

Luke has been practicing this here and there for a while now, but it finally all came together this weekend ... and he's so proud of himself.

Circus Clowns

Sometimes the silliest things make Luke laugh. Michael was "juggling" his blocks yesterday, and I just couldn't help but catch Luke's reaction on video. I simply cannot resist the sound of his laughter - it has to be the cutest thing. Have a look!

Our First Post!

I've been meaning to get one of these up and running for a while now. I was nervous that I wouldn't be able to do it, but I can't believe how easy this is!

So, check back here often to get all of the news from Luke's world. I'll be updating as often as I can with pictures, video, and info.

We just returned from a whirlwind trip, traveling with Michael on business. Luke was such a good traveler, despite the lack of schedule and sleep. We spent a few days in Austin with our wonderful friends the Clarks (and made Luke's first trip to a zoo!), and then a couple of days in Pasadena visiting Daddy's office and seeing Luke's dear Auntie Sarah and Mr. Erik. We had a great time, but I can tell that Luke is glad to be home to his bed, his kitty, and his regular routine. Here are a few pics from our trip.
